About

Focused on Understanding Your Unique Needs

I provide compassionate and inclusive care to individuals and families seeking therapy and assessment services. With specialized training and expertise, I bring a wealth of knowledge and skills to address a wide range of psychological concerns. Whether it's helping children cope with anxiety or depression, assisting teens in navigating the challenges of adolescence, working with adults to manage stress and improve relationships, or supporting families in building stronger connections, I am equipped to provide comprehensive care across the lifespan. In addition to therapy, I offer specialized assessments* for children and adults to help clarify diagnoses, identify strengths and challenges, and develop tailored treatment plans. A psychological evaluation can provide insight into a person’s cognitive and intellectual abilities, executive function, learning differences, or other challenges. A psychological evaluation can be helpful in identifying ADHD, learning differences, Dyslexia, Giftedness and 2e, Autism, PDA, and more. Results can guide recommendations for treatment, school, or personal development. By gaining a deeper understanding of each client's unique needs and neurodiversity, I can provide targeted interventions and recommendations to enhance their well-being. I strongly believe in embracing the concept of neurodiversity, recognizing and celebrating the unique strengths and perspectives of individuals with diverse neurological profiles. Within my practice, I strive to create a safe and affirming space where clients of all neurodivergent backgrounds feel valued and understood. I am committed to fostering a non-judgmental environment that promotes acceptance, empowerment, and celebrates the inherent diversity of the human mind. I utilize evidence-based approaches and interventions to guide my practice. Drawing from modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based interventions, I tailor my therapeutic approach to best meet the needs and goals of each individual or family. If you're interested in therapy or assessment* services, please select an available time to schedule an appointment. For new clients interested in therapy, I offer a complimentary 15-minute introductory call. This initial conversation allows us to connect, discuss your needs, and determine if we are a good fit for working together. For assessment consultations, I offer 30-minute sessions at a rate of $50. During this time, we can discuss your assessment goals, gather necessary information, and outline the assessment process. I look forward to speaking with you! *I am not taking new requests for psychological evaluations until June 2024. Adult diagnostic assessment can be provided in the course of therapy. About Me: My previous experience includes The Gifted Child Clinic, The Dyslexia Center of Princeton, NIH-funded research at the Institute for Study of Child Development (UMDNJ), & the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH). I received my undergraduate degree from Princeton University and my PhD in Clinical Psychology from Emory University. I live in Lawrenceville with my husband, 2 teenagers, 2 cats, and a lizard. Most if not all of us are neurodivergent, so it’s an interesting household! What to expect: During an initial appointment, I will ask questions to learn about your concerns, background and goals for therapy. Together we will decide what approach will be most helpful and discuss other recommendations. If you are seeking therapy for your child, we will also discuss your role and amount of involvement in your child’s sessions. In order for therapy to work, client and therapist develop a safe, trusting relationship through regular weekly appointments. *I am not taking new requests for psychological evaluations until June 2024. Adult diagnostic assessment can be provided in the course of therapy.
